Insect Management
This page is under development.

Come and Get It.

Come and Get It is derived from a bacteria normally present in the soil. The Bacteria is Spinosyn and the derived chemicals are Spinosad A and Spinosad D.  It is not considered a Carcinogen or toxic to birds or animals.  It is toxic to Bees.  The latest EPA fact sheet is very old and was created for application to cotton.  Fertilome produces two versions of Come and Get it. One is specifically for fire ants. The other is for snails and slugs and not effective against fire ants.
